Microbiology with Dr. Bradner

See and discover the hidden world of
microorganisms.

Students will learn how to use basic and
advanced microscopes to study and
understand the world they could not see
until now!

**This course is for beginners and
not recommended for students
who have an advanced knowledge of
microscopes.**

 

Spheros with Ms. Hagin

Students will work on programming Sphero robots. We will focus on text programming and then move toward a program virtual and real robots to accomplish specific objectives.

NOTE: Students will need to download an app on their phones to save their programs.

Rocket with Mr. Stiles

Come design, engineer, and compete with your creation!

​Teamwork is a skill that they acquire and they organize into a group with many specialized responsibilities for the purpose of launching their rockets and collecting valuable data to be processed and analyzed in the classroom. Suddenly, the Pythagorean Theorem makes sense as they visualize the giant triangle formed by the flight path of their rocket. Newton's Laws are in full enforcement right before their very eyes. Through the activities of model rocketry, science and math not only exist, they “come to life.”

Suggested for grades 6th & 7th

Lego Creations with Ms. Stephen

If you love working with others and building with Lego, then Lego Creations is for you!

Lego Creations students will be able to collaborate with others to build wonderful Lego creations. They will become Lego masters in their own right and be able to their own imagination run free!

Welcome to the ultimate D.I.Y. computer-building experience! Build a REAL computer from start to finish while playing the Raspberry Pi Edition of Minecraft and learn how to code and make STEAM connections to the real world.

3D- Printing with Ms. Hodgkins

The 3D Printing Club introduces students to the basics of digital design and additive manufacturing. Students learn how to create simple models using beginner‑friendly software and then prepare their designs for printing on classroom 3D printers. The club focuses on creativity, problem solving, and hands‑on exploration as students learn how everyday objects can be planned and produced layer by layer. No prior experience is needed, and students develop confidence as they bring their own ideas to life.

Rubik's Cubes & Brain Games with Ms Snyder

The Rubik’s Cubes and Brain Games Club helps students strengthen logic, pattern recognition, and persistence through a mix of cube‑solving strategies and fun problem‑solving activities. Students learn helpful cube algorithms, practice different solving methods, and explore a variety of brain games that build memory, reasoning, and focus. The club encourages teamwork, perseverance, and a positive challenge mindset as students work toward personal goals and celebrate new skills together.
